Can I Give Oral After C-section? [Here Is The Good News!]

On average, American couples have sexual intercourse at least once a week.

This means avoiding sex after a c-section can prove challenging for many!

But what about oral sex? Can you give oral after c-section?

I’ll answer this question and more in this post 🙂

Can I Give Oral After C-section?

If you are asking this question as a person who has just had a c-section and wonder if you can perform oral sex on your other half, then yes, you can give oral straight after a c-section.

However, if you are wondering if you can give your partner who has just had c-section oral sex, then you can do so as long as you wait a few days and perform oral sex outside of the vagina.

Can I Receive Oral After C-section?

You can receive oral after c-section as long as you wait a few days after delivery and your partner avoids penetrating your vagina with their tongue.

Your partner should instead perform oral sex outside of your vagina, licking near and around your clitoris.

Oral sex is a form of outercourse, just like masturbation, and is used by many as a safe sex alternative to avoid sexually transmitted infections or unwanted pregnancies.

It is important to note that oral sex outside of the vagina area does not guarantee that you will not get an infection.

Now, while you are reading this you may wonder: why is my vagina area a no-go since I did not have a vaginal delivery?

Well, mainly due to 3 reasons below:

  1. During labor, you likely tried to push and tore your vagina, before the doctors decided to finally opt for a c-section
  2. All women have postpartum bleeding, even those who had a c-section. In fact, bleeding after c section can last for up to four weeks.
  3. As your c-section incision heals, your entire body will be more vulnerable and prone to infections. Hence, you should steer clear from the vagina and perineum to be safe from infection.

What Can You Do Sexually After C Section?

Intercourse and oral sex are not the only things you can do after a c-section.

Here are some other ideas for you and your partner:

1. Kissing

Nothing better than getting yourself and your other half aroused with long, passionate kissing.

Both men and women have various areas on their bodies which are sensitive to kisses, for example:

  • Ears
  • Fingers
  • Stomach
  • Arms
  • Back
  • Breasts
  • Feet

Here are two articles you can read if you are interested in knowing more about arousing your partner with a kiss:

2. Mutual Masturbation

You can perform mutual masturbation in two different ways:

  • Masturbate your partner while they masturbate you or
  • Touch yourself while watching your partner touch themselves

Both are extremely hot moments to have with your other half, and perfectly fine to perform after a c-section (as long as you have waited a few days and have consulted your doctor).

3. Massage

A long, deep massage can be really sexy if given the right way.

Stroke and rub your partner all over their bodies, paying attention to their most sensitive areas.

Then, tease your other half by massaging closing to their genitals for a few minutes until you finally finish the massage by masturbating them.

4. External Vibrators

An external vibrator is an excellent way to enjoy outercourse.

Simply use the external vibrator to stimulate your clitoris, nipples, penis, or perineum.

Such type of vibrators will allow you and your partner to climax without the need of tiring a body that is going through postpartum.

Make sure you keep the vibrator clean to avoid infections

How Can I Satisfy My Husband After A C-section?

Sexual intercourse is discouraged for at least 6 weeks after c-section.

However, there are many ways you can satisfy your husband after a c-section, including:

  1. Giving him a massage
  2. Doing some foreplay
  3. Bathing together
  4. Performing oral sex on your husband
  5. Giving him long and sensual kisses
  6. Watch erotic films together
  7. Talking dirty to him while he plays with himself

You can read more details in a previous article I wrote on how to please husband during postpartum.

If you have just had a c-section, feel free to perform oral on your other half at any time.

However, wait a few days to receive oral sex and consult your doctor if needed.

Don’t forget that oral sex is a type of outercourse, which means you can also enjoy the following postpartum:

  • Kissing
  • Massage
  • Mutual masturbating
  • External vibrators

Avoid outercourse that requires too much movement/effort such as dry humping.
